Collaborating with other creatives brings a unique energy to a project, and Driftwood was no exception. Partnering with the creative director of an iconic NYC department store, we knew that every detail had to be meticulously considered. The result is a landscape where artistry and function merge seamlessly. At its heart, a sleek lap pool is thoughtfully nestled within a vineyard, which provides privacy and evokes a sense of place on the North Fork. As the property slopes downward, the pool gradually emerges from the grade, culminating in a sunken seating area. A dramatic glass window at the deep end of the pool adds an unexpected, interactive element, captivating guests with shimmering reflections and the dynamic movement of swimmers. Driftwood is a testament to the power of collaboration, where bold vision and technical expertise come together to create a landscape that is both sophisticated and whimsical – much like its owner!
